This is Ancaster's largest annual indoor charity event. Lobsterfest features great food, music and dancing, a great atmosphere and a whole lot of fun. Approximately 4000 lobsters are brought in fresh from the east coast and 14 ounce steaks are cooked at two stations on a number of large barbecues. There will also be a live party band, rock band and a video dance party. This all takes place at The Ancaster Community Centre.

The Ancaster Mill Race is part of the Heritage Days celebrations. Proceeds from the races are donated to various charities in the local area. The three races offered include 1 km kid's race at 6:30pm, 10 km race at 7pm and a 5 km race at 7:10pm.

The annual Heritage Days starts with the Old Mill Road Race, followed by the Annual Ancaster Community Services “Community Links" Golf Tournament, and then the Tastes of Ancaster, the Strawberry Social and Car show. Heritage Days also features a parade and whole lot of fun for everyone.
