Ancaster is in southern Ontario and is a scenic suburb of Hamilton. It is situated beside Ontario's Niagara Escarpment and the town is home to an abundance of natural beauty offering many enjoyable recreational activities, as well as offering an array of shopping and dining opportunities. Visitors will find much to do in this picturesque town, such as spending time at the Fieldcote Memorial Park and Museum, which is set in a historic home. The museum aims to preserve and promote local history. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy playing a round or two at the Knollwood Golf Course, while families will have some fun taking a tour of Lindley's Farm and Market featuring a 1.6 ha (4 acres) corn maze. Open year-round, Carluke Orchards offers visitors the chance to pick their own apples and also provides tours of the scenic apple orchard. Ancaster also hosts a number of fun annual events throughout the year such as the Ancaster Heritage Days and Lobsterfest.Tourist Attractions
